Poppy Clock

Welcome to 'Poppy Clock' thank you for your interest. My name is Vivien Holloway and I am Mum to two grown up children. I have had a long and rewarding career in childcare which started when I was 17 as an au pair in Belgium.

 

When my children were small, I started childminding and when a particular friend visited, she would always find us with the play dough out. One Christmas she bought me a book on 'salt dough' and I taught myself to make various items which slowly took over the house. My husband knew that the Orthopaedic Hospital held craft fairs, so persuaded me to take my salt dough items along. The feedback from customers was amazing, and soon I had sold out.

 

Having gained qualifications in childcare, I worked my way up to Manager over the next 16 years and loved every minute of working with children, staff and parents.

 

I am now concentrating on building 'Poppy Clock' up to provide workshops and attend craft fairs in a wider area. Please take a moment to have a look at some of the items I make.
